CapWealth Founder, Chairman and CEO Tim Pagliara has been selected as the top wealth manager in the state for the fourth consecutive year and among the nation’s top 1,200 for the sixth time in seven years.
Middle Tennessee-based wealth manager Tim Pagliara, chairman and CEO of independent registered investment advisory firm CapWealth, has been named the top financial advisor in the state of Tennessee by Barron’s magazine. The announcement marks the fourth consecutive year that Pagliara has earned the number-one spot in the state (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015) and the sixth year in the last seven (2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015) that he has made the national “Top 1,200 Advisors” list published annually by the financial industry magazine. The rankings are based on assets under management, revenue generated by the firm’s advisors and quality of practice, including regulatory history.
“Being named the top advisor in the state is an honor for both me and my entire team,” Pagliara said. “It affirms our simple but powerful business model: complete client focus. What flows from that focus is investment strategies that clients can understand, state-of-the-art technology and Provable Integrity™, the new industry standard for reporting clients’ performance results. It is a privilege to serve our clients as well as our community. We are grateful to have an organization like Barron’s to recognize us for our achievements.”
The Barron’s honor is only the latest in a series of recent distinctions for the CapWealth firm. Three months ago, CapWealth’ President and COO Phoebe Venable was named one of the top 100 women financial advisors in the United States by The Financial Times newspaper. Last June, CapWealth was named by The Financial Times as one of the top 300 registered investment advisories in the United States.
The past year has also seen the addition of former Goldman Sachs vice president John Lueken. While with Goldman Sachs, a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management company, Lueken developed unique custom solutions for client portfolios based on his monitoring of worldwide economic developments and their impact on the equity and fixed-income marketplace. Now Chief Investment Strategist for CapWealth, Lueken directs investment strategy and research for the firm.
In December of 2013, the firm launched CapWealth Insights whose services simplify the investment data-gathering and reporting complexities for the ultra-wealthy, private trust companies, foundations and endowments. The firm combines innovative data-aggregation software, expert analysis and rigorous reporting standards in order to consolidate information from all of a family’s or foundation’s diverse investment relationships for more accurate, complete pictures of their assets, resulting in better decision-making.
